Ashby and Orton Riding Club has over 60 years of history. Our 2023 season of events is again being held at Grangewood, by kind permission of the Kirkland family.

Grangewood is an exciting, versatile venue. We host events at the livery yard with its indoor and outdoor surfaces.

In 2023 we will be offering dressage both day and evening events, in hand showing and ridden showing. Unfortunately, we are not offering any jumping or gymkhana classes this year.

Events are held throughout the year at Grangewood Farm Livery. Dressage tests are ridden on the outdoor school (40x20m) with warm up in the indoor arena. This year we not holding any combined showing and dressage events.

Open class – Rider any age  

Restricted class – Rider any age, combination not to have been placed 1st or 2nd in a, A&O dressage test.  A rosette will be awarded to the highest placed junior in each section.

Entry fees:

DRESSAGE: Members £12.00 per class       Non-members £15.00 per class

SHOWING: Members £7.00 per class. Non-members £9.00 per class

Entries close FOUR DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. All events are strictly pre-entry only. We will not be accepting entries on the day. Entry forms can be downloaded from our website www.aorc.uk  

Correct fees MUST be sent to Mandy Forsyth. Entry forms will not be accepted unless accompanied by the correct entry fee. Please make cheques payable to “Ashby and Orton Riding Club”
